TITLE Pattern Formations of Heat Convection Problems

ABSTRACT Oberbeck-Boussinesq equation is a combination of Navier-Stokes equation and Fourier Heat equation and models heat convections of fluids under gravity. A boundary value problem for the system is considered in the horizontal strip heated from below. The upper boundary condition is stress free and the bottom boundary is no-slip. Pattern formtions are considered by analysis and by computer assisted analysis.
